FAQ

Q – Is this a real church, a real faith?

A – Yes it is, we are bound by 12 declarations as to how we treat others.  A set of ethics that most humans find to be virtuous.  It is our hope we can create better relations between all people regardless of their views on God.

Q – Can I join the Church, what do I have to do?

A – All members must declare they believe in and will try to practice the 12 declarations, nothing more.  To join the site though and meet and interact with other members you will need an invitation.  If you don’t currently know a member we will be creating a program to get introduced soon.

Q – When you say “United Faiths” what does that mean?

A – Our declarations of individual sovereignty and how others are treated are centered on the fact that we are all sovereign over our own lives, bodies, possessions and voluntary relationships by our very creation.  We collectively refer to that creation and the force behind it as God.   Our highest value is individual freedom, each member has the freedom to define God for him or herself.  To the atheist God in our Church is the natural process of evolution, to the Deist God is the intelligence behind that process.  To a Christian God is the God of the bible and Christ his son and the Holy Spirt.  We are honestly a church anyone can join, so long as they respect to the rights of others to believe as they see fit.

Q – So if you don’t have a specific view of God, what is the point?

A – How we treat each other as human beings.  We have accepted that different people will always view God differently.  Some even say there is no God but even those people understand humans have inherent rights.  The right to be free, the right to associate freely with others and the right to live spiritually as they choose as long as they don’t harm others.

Q – Who is in charge of this religion?

A – No one and everyone at the same time.  Every one that joins by their own free will is a member, a founder and a minister.  We all minister to one another and help each other as we feel we can best do.  There is no hierarchy, no series of levels to attain.
